Speaker - How a Failing CS Major Went On to Teach Millions How to Code

Sonny Li is the Founder and Chief Vibes Officer of Codédex, a learn to code platform for Gen Z. But eight years ago, he was a failing college student on the verge of dropping out, with absolutely no motivation at all. How did he go from skipping classes to teaching Computer Science at Columbia, NYU, and CUNY, and later, leading the charge at an EdTech company that taught programming to 50 million users worldwide? There were a lot of detours, some roadblocks, and a few pivotal decisions. In this talk, Sonny will share some of the hard lessons he learned along the way and hopefully inspire you to follow your dreams, too.
